ReplyDeleteAlso coming (rumor has it) is Williams, Waller, Hayes, Veech and possibly one more expert. However, we have no direct commitments as of yet. But it is shaping up, I believe, to be quite a strong tournament. See everybody tonight!
ReplyDeleteIn general, and especially with a relatively short time control such as this, at what point is it allowed/considered OK to stop writing down your moves in view of time pressure?
ReplyDeleteIt is the same as in any other regular time control game. If you go under 5 minutes you can stop recording your moves.
