  4. That's too bad. Seeing that Awonder is registered can enhance the attendance. Mike will need this, especially in light of the Susan Polgar prize-heavy event this weekend.

  5. Awonder Liang and Brady Harder are the to seeds at the Junior Open, overall it's a much weaker field than last year's event.

  7. In the Vets section, Haubrich & Becker are 3-0 (so is McKinney, but he W/D). Betaneli is 2-1. Martin-Ellis was still going, so it's possible that Martin will also be 3-0 (he was up a pawn).
