EF: $40-Open, $30-Reserve, both $5 more after October 14.  Comp EF for USCF 2200+.

(2) For Females: Perfect Score Prize: $80 in the Open and $40 in the Reserve

ROAD CONSTRUCTION ALERT:

 

I-94 East Bound Construction Ramp Full Closure at OFF RAMP TO WIS 67 (Oconomowoc).  This affects players driving from the Madison area.
 
Detour: Continue East on I-94 past WIS 67 to the County Highway P exit (about 2 miles).  Exit at County Highway P.  Travel south on County P to enter the second roundabout and exit at County DR (Delafield Road). Turn right (west) on Delafield Road to WIS 67. Turn right (north) on WIS 67 to Regent Road. Turn left (west) on Regent Road and continue to Olympia Resort.  Basically, you get off at County Highway P and backtrack on Delafield Road to WIS 67. 
 
WIS 67 is also under construction and is only a one-lane road.
 
Please plan at least 15 minutes extra for the construction on getting to the Olympia Hotel.

  4. Sixty-seven participants. Thirty-eight in the Open, including 2 Females. Twenty-nine in the Reserve, including eight Females (or over 27.5% of the section). Thank you to Goddesschess for it's sponsorship of all the additional prizes.

  5. Going into the final round, both sections feature the only two undefeated players, meeting on board 1. In the Open it is Awonder Liang versus Derek Paitrick and in the Reserve it is Gary Wright versus Russ Holmes.

  6. Awonder won to finish first with 4-0. Alexander Velikanov finished clear second at 3.5-0.5 with a final round win. In the Reserve Gary and Russ drew with each other and Micah Chrisman and Aradh Kaur won their final round games to finish in a four way tie for first place with 3.5-0.5 scores.
