SOUTHWEST CHESS CLUB ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY, Thursday, December 22


Casual Chess, food and socializing. No entry fee !!

It is time for Southwest Chess Club's annual year end party.  Drop by between 6:30 and 10 pm for food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.  Food from many countries often finds its way to this gathering, so be willing to try new things.  Bring a dessert or dish to pass if you want.  Plenty of casual chess.  All ages welcome. 

We meet at the Hales Corners Village Hall in the lower level community room.  The address is 5635 S. New Berlin Road in Hales Corners.  Parking is next to the building.

The chess club will not meet on Thursday night, December 29.  After December 22, the club will again be open on Thursday January 52012, which will also be the first night of a new tournament (see below).

Erik Santarius won the Blitz event with19 points (20 rounds)!  Alex Betaneli finished 2nd, and Nolan Hendrickson 3rd place.  There were eleven players.
