Come dance with us on Thursday for some great chess. Quads give players a chance to play against players of similar ratings. Hope to see everybody on Thursday.

regarding Hales Corners Challenge X: How about a prize for expert class? (there was some discussion previously on Ivan's blog)

I second the motion for an expert prize at the HCC X.

Congrats to Tom Fogec. Tom was playing last night against a computer that a non member built to try to test against a live player.

Tom had a decisive win. It was fun to watch.

Big finish in some of the Quad tomorrow. Quad 1 features Coons v. Veech for all the marbles. Quad 2 has three players in the running for all the marbles, depending upon outcomes of the games. The rest of the Quads are equally exciting.
