We're sharing Waukesha Chess Club's online event info, for those interested. Note you need to be a member of USCF and chess.com. This affects your Online Quick rating only (not your over-the-board rating):

From WCC:
Hi all - we're going to run our 3rd online USCF rated event tonight. Like last time, we're not going to use the chess.com
tournament system (it limits our rounds or pairing flexibility), which
means it will be paired by me. Communication will be key, so read below
to make sure you know what to expect. Look forward to seeing you
tonight!!
Feel free to forward this, just remember that players have to be chess.com and USCF members.
What it is:
- 5 rounds (depending on players - may turn into a RR) of 10 | 2
- USCF Rated - affects ONLY your USCF Online Quick rating (not your OTB standard or even OTB Quick rating)
- All communication will happen in the Club Live Chat for the Waukesha Chess Club page on chess.com. Here's the club page. If you need to join, do it NOW - don't wait for 7PM. Club membership needs to be approved, so if you wait, you could be out of luck.
- You need to be a member of this club to play (and an active USCF member, just like on Wednesdays.).
- Some time between 6:30 and 7:00 PM tonight, check that you can connect to chess.com.
- Open the the WCC club page.
- There's a "Live Chat" button on this page, right under the club title - click it :) to open the chat window.
- To enter, send a chat in that window: "Hi John, it's <your real name>, USCF ID <your USCF ID> and I'm joining tonight's event.
- I (RealGojira on chess.com) will reply when I see it, something like "OK <your name or handle>, I've got you."
- We will NOT BE USING the chess.com pairing system. DO NOT join that event. It's there to remind people we're playing. I will delete it around 6:57 tonight... you should already be in club chat by then...
- Again, we will NOT BE USING the chess.com pairing system, all pairings and standings will be posted to the club chat window.
- At Start:
- At 7PM, I'll post who's entered, any section and rating detail, and have last call for entries.
- I will post R1 pairings. At this point EITHER player can issue a match request to the other player 10 | 2 with colors as listed in the pairings in chat.
- TO ISSUE A MATCH CHALLENGE (looks hard, but is really easy...):
- Go to the chess.com homepage and click "New Game"
- Click on the "Custom Challenge" on this page
- Click the arrow in the button under "Opponent" and select "Search"
- Enter your opponent's username in the box
- Leave the game type as Standard
- Click the down arrow next to whatever time control is there, and then click on the "More Time Controls" label.
- enter 10 in the min box, and 2 in the inc box and hit the arrow.
- click the White or black option next to "I play as"
- Click "Send Challenge"
- That's it!
- When you get a match request - accept it
- Play the game, and BOTH PLAYERS should put the result in chat: "I won (or lost) against <opponent>" and I'll reply when I see it.
- As games end I'll put status notes in chat - feel free to watch any of the active games once your game is done.
- After all games in the round are complete, I'll post the next round pairings. I'm hoping for at least 5 rounds (around 100 max game minutes or so, plan accordingly).
- If you have to leave, please tell us in the chat. Don't make an opponent wait wondering if you're going to play.
Remember, we have 1 more planned event in two weeks, then we'll consider the longer term schedule, so if you want to see these continue, think about playing in one or both of these.
- John (RealGojira on chess.com, still John at the Eagle's Club...)
