April Rising Tulips Swiss: April 19, 26 & May 3*
3-Round Swiss in Two Sections (Open and U1600).
Game/100 minutes. USCF Rated. EF: $5.00. (One ½-Point Bye Available for any round (except round three) if requested at least 2-days prior to round). TD is Grochowski; ATDs is Becker. (*Round 3, May 3 only, at St. James Catholic Church: 7219 South 27th Street, Franklin, WI).

EXTRA: “David’s Best Game Prize” There will be a $5.00 "Best Game" prize for the April Rising Tulips Swiss tournament, which will be awarded by David Dathe. This prize will be awarded for the most interesting game played in the tournament. Mr. Dathe will be the judge of any games submitted. All tournament players are encouraged to submit a game. Please submit the game to the TD. The game needs to be legible (readable) so the game can be properly analyzed. All games need to be turned in by the end of the tournament.

So I can't beat a 1200 in Hales Corners, but I can hold Kirsan Ilyumzhinov to a draw in blitz...well OK then...

Who is Keyser Soze (Kirsan Ilyumzhinov)? And what does it have to do with Hales Corners?

Kirsan is the president of FIDE and it's me being amazed that I can't hold off a 1200, but I can hold off a former ntional champion of his home country.

However, in a truly ironic twist (for fans of the Usual Suspects) I played Kirsan in Skokie...
