STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
(two events in one day with $1,200 in prizes)
Saturday, February
15th
PLAYING SITE: Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Madison (3841 East Washington
Ave, Madison WI 53704; 608-819-6298)
BLITZ: ten games (5 double rounds) with time control of G/3 plus
2 second increment per move. This event is Blitz Rated, but regular ratings
will be used for pairings and prizes. Late registration: 3:00-3:15pm. Rounds:
3:30pm and then ASAP
PRIZES: $600 (b/30) $200-$100 and $300 in class prizes with 5-8
players per class
ENTRY: $30 by February 8th, $35 by February 13th, $40 afterwards.
