STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
(two events in one day with $1,200 in prizes)

15th
PLAYING SITE: Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Madison (3841 East Washington
Ave, Madison WI 53704; 608-819-6298)
QUICK CHESS: four rounds with time control of G/25 plus 3 second
increment per move. This event is Quick Rated, but regular ratings will be used
for pairings and prizes. Accelerated pairings may be used. Late registration:
9:00-9:30am. Rounds: 10:00am, 11:15am, 12:45pm, 2:00pm
PRIZES: $600 (b/30) $200-$100 and $300 in class prizes with 5-8
players per class
ENTRY: $30 by February 8th, $35 by February 13th, $40 afterwards.
