This Thursday, August 25, the Southwest Chess Club presents for you the “Summer Actionade Cooler V” (see below for details). We plan to start promptly at 7:00 p.m.. Registration is 6:20-6:50 p.m. If you are unable to make every round, half point byes are available for round one, if requested in advance. All three rounds will be played this Thursday evening.

Starting this Thursday, January 6, 2011, Southwest Chess Club presents for you “Icebergs Floating on Lake Michigan Swiss” (see below for details). We plan to start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Registration is 6:20-6:50 p.m. I plan to close registration at 6:50. If you arrive after first-round pairings are prepared, you will have to take a 1/2-point bye in the first round.

However, if you want to play but anticipate being a few minutes late, please e-mail myself (robin.grochowski@quarles.com) or Tom Fogec (tfogec@wi.rr.com) or call me 414-861-2745 or Tom 414-425-6742 prior to 4:00 p.m. on January 6, so we can include you in the pairings.
