SOUTHWEST CHESS CLUB ---NEW LOCATION

The Southwest Chess Club has found a new home. Starting Thursday, January 8, 2009 we will be meeting at St. James Catholic Church in the lower level of the Parish Center building, which is immediately in front of the church. The address is 7219 South 27th Street in Franklin. The location is on the west side of 27th Street, just south of Rawson Avenue. Please park behind the Parish Center building. Enter only through the south entrance. Proceed down the stairs to the hall where we will be playing chess. Check the Southwest Chess Club website for a map and schedule of events.

Hales Corners Challenge VIII - New Location

The upcoming Hales Corners Challenge VIII will be held at a NEW LOCATION:

Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel—4747 S. Howell Avenue—Milwaukee (Phone—414-481-8000; formerly known as Four Points Sheraton, across street from airport)

You can register for the tournament at our club at its new location, Layton State Bank (downstairs), 5850 Broad Street, Greendale. Here is a map to the club.

New Club Location for Summer 2008 !

The Southwest Chess Club meets every Thursday night from 6:00 PM in the town of Greendale, Wisconsin. We meet at the Layton State Bank (downstairs), at 5850 Broad Street.

Due to flooding problems, our Hales Corners Village Hall location is not available until Sept.-Oct. 2008. We will meet at the Greendale Layton State Bank until further notice.
