Sweat Dripping Steamy Humid Swiss

This Thursday, June 16 (and the next two Thursdays after that) the Southwest Chess Club presents for you the “Sweat Dripping Steamy Humid Swiss” (see below for details). We plan to start promptly at 7:00 p.m.. Registration is 6:20-6:50 p.m. If you are unable to make every round, half point byes are available for rounds one and two, if requested in advance.

Game/100 minutes. USCF Rated. EF: $5.00. (One ½

Point Bye Available for any round (except round three) if

requested at least 2-days prior to round).

Southwest Chess Club at Polish Fest

The Southwest Chess Club will be open for business at Polish Fest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 17th, 18th and 19th of June. Simuls with Masters and casual chess will be available between 12 noon and 10 PM, each of those three days, for a nominal fee. Advance registrations are being accepted for Simuls with NM Jeff Cooper (6 PM Saturday) and NM Bill Williams (6 PM Sunday).
