NEWS FLASH: ANAND ENTERS MILWAUKEE SUMMER CHALLENGE !!!
Congratulations to VIJAY RAGHAVAN for making master in the Chicago Open!! I hope he can play in our MSC III!
Please register early if you can. It not only saves you dollars, but makes our job a little easier during registration the day of the tournament. Thanks.
The WI Chess Academy is having their summer camp on June 21-22. Same dates.
The MSC tournament has been scheduled for almost a year now.
Sure. The camp has been held over the same time period for the last decade. I don't see a problem though.
Wow I didn't realize that basically all the top players in the state are WCA instructors...having preregistered early I hope there will be some other top players!
Nice prize fund.
Day 1 results?
Great tournament! Thanks for directing SWCC
Congratulations to section winners Allen Becker in Master/Expert, Jim Coons in U2000, Micah Chrisman in U1500 and Anand Krishnamurthy in U1000. Allen, Jim and Anand are all Southwest Chess Club members .
Several photos from MSC-III added to the blog; check them out. - Allen
