Too bad Awonder can't be there... he's too busy winning in Greece!
Go Awonder!

Due to a computer problem I've lost all my games :( If anyone has any games we played (especially my loses) since 2009 it would be greatly appreciated if you could e-mail them to me in any format.
matthew.waller@att.net
Thanks!
Matt Waller
Geez Matt, All your lost games? It'll take quite a while to send a file that size.
Just kidding! Hope you are able to retrieve all your games.
btw, what is best way to enter game scores into database?
Yeah, I feel stupid, should've had it backed up.
Loses are the best to analyze :) Lots of games I should've lost too..hehe.
I personally like to analyze my games with a notebook and pen right after they are played and then after I do that put them in to chessbase and analyze my analysis with an engine (I usually use Firebird, which is free btw.)
Thanks, I like that idea of writing down your own thoughts first before they are either confirmed or swayed by other means.
I have not lost my mind. It's backed up on disk somewhere!
So what's the problem if you have it backed up on disk somewhere ?
"Yeah, I feel stupid, should've had it backed up." Note the word "should've", meaning should have. I don't have it backed up and appreciate the people who have helped me out so far :)

Congratulations to Bill Williams, Allen Becker and Nolan Hendrickson on winning the Open Section and to John Demler for winning the Reserve Section.
i used to obsess over my losses (note spelling) until i realized losing wasn't so bad. .oh btw i can't help you i beat you in 05' --big wink-- you're prolly still obsessing over that one aren't you? j/k mike 'the loud mouth' penway p.s. it was a scotch i was white you were black when you played 4...Nf6!!!(and old ploy of some obscure 20th century romantic wishful thinker) immediately i was lost in the opening but managed by curmudgeonly indifference to regain my composure and watched as you blundered with a rook on the seventh rank and your queen hovering over my king thanks btw now i obsess over my wins ;P hey robin can we turn this blog into a place where one can throw barbs at one's former opponents while we discuss old games? rattle some chains so-to-speak i'm all for it one more thing please relate to mr james coons that jay cutler has now thrown for over 3000 yds this year and the bears (10-4 soon to be 11-4)won their division (rather easily) see you in GB next week
sorry 11-4 soon to be 12-4 ahem
