Get shot by a crooked arrow and fall in love with chess all over again. Come on out and play!
Why is Cupid using crooked arrows? Were they all out of law abiding ones?
Results from round one? Would like to figure out who my opponent is for Round Two?

Pairing Please?
My Guess,
Wainscott will play Pokorski
Wainscott drew to Williams? Hth did that happen?
I can draw Williams, but I draw the line at understanding pairings!

At this rate Nolan will break 2300 by the end of the event.
then he will be overrated by 200 pts.
That's doubtful. Nolan performs like a master in out of state events.

Ahem... Not so doubtful!
Anonymous posting on the internet is for Syrian dissidents and children in middle school. Please don't indulge your fondness for US Weekly in this local venue.
One thing is for sure Nolan achieved a master rating at what...age 17?? While the critic and or critics did not???
Score Hendrickson vs Critic(s) 1-0
Ouch!!!!!!
I mean Nolan is just abusing the elders of WI....do you think they even have a clue about modern positions????
Breider swatted him like a fly. Just your typical booked-up monkey with no understanding of original positions.
Nolan has drawn a strong FM in the team tournament. Not bad for a "book monkey."
Go back to calling yourself Gansta. You were funnier then...
I hope you are not Chris Wainscott cause you are one lucky amateur who drew to Williams.
Poetic justice to lose to just another booked-up monkey in the last round! Ahaaahaaahaaahaaahaaa!
I think referring to two of Wisconsin's talented juniors as monkeys is silly at best. Doing it anonymously is plain rhetoric. Nolan would beat all but a couple WI players in a match, event if you make it Fischer Random. His greatest asset is not opening prep (how much can you prepare in Grand Prix?!), but good calculation.
Nolan is cool :)
Haha, how much can you prepare in the Grand Prix....a lot!!
Isn't preparation and study part of what makes a player stronger including the study of opening theory? Don't sweat it Alex,Nolan, he is just a little insecure as his Mommy still wipes him.
Please let us stop with the name calling and derogatory statements. This blog is to promote chess in Wisconsin and is not a place for a personal witch hunt. Thanks.

'Nuff said about having a clue about "modern positions" when you see the "elders" at the top of the table again! An apology for the undeserved idiotic comments are welcome anytime. But I know you can't admit when you are wrong and/or insulting. Now THAT is being petty and having jealousy issues.
Any pictures of Jon Breider?? I think pictures for ever tourn in SWCC will attract more people.
then he will be overrated by 200 pts.
