The Southwest Chess Club meets each Thursday night at the Hales Corners Village Hall/Police Station, at 5635 South New Berlin Rd, Hales Corners, WI, downstairs Community Room. Club opens at 6 PM, Tournament Games at 7 PM.
GM Jesse Kraai read a passage from his novel (Lisa), analyzed Game 9 from Anand-Carlsen match, and answered questions. This was a free event! GM Kraai's website Jesse had copies of his book for sale with him which he signed.
Only 25 people showed up for a free GM lecture -- I am a little disappointed. Anyway, thanks to the people who came out. And thanks to GM Kraai for coming and doing his lecture.

Jesse will have copies of his book for sale with him which he will sign. The price is $12.
The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m. This is being held at the Hales Corners Village Hall location, which the club usually meets.
These GM events are always good. And this one is free, can't beat that. I already have some chess questions I want to ask.
