The Southwest Chess Club will be open for business at Polish Fest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 17th, 18th and 19th of June. Simuls with Masters and casual chess will be available between 12 noon and 10 PM, each of those three days, for a nominal fee. Icebergs Floating on Lake Michigan Swiss January 6, 13, 20, 27, 2011
Starting this Thursday, January 6, 2011, Southwest Chess Club presents for you “Icebergs Floating on Lake Michigan Swiss” (see below for details). We plan to start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Registration is 6:20-6:50 p.m. I plan to close registration at 6:50. If you arrive after first-round pairings are prepared, you will have to take a 1/2-point bye in the first round.
However, if you want to play but anticipate being a few minutes late, please e-mail myself (robin.grochowski@quarles.com) or Tom Fogec (tfogec@wi.rr.com) or call me 414-861-2745 or Tom 414-425-6742 prior to 4:00 p.m. on January 6, so we can include you in the pairings.
